Our inspiration started 28 years ago the day Ethan Irwin was born. Having been diagnosed early on with autism, we knew he would be faced with many struggles and barriers. As an adult, we found it hard for him to find a job let alone, keep it based on his ABILITIES. After struggling for many years to find the right fit, Ethan’s family decided to create a place where Ethan and others like him on the autistic spectrum could work. Thus New Hope was born. The name New Hope was Ethan’s idea, as it is a New Hope for so many people with autism. A place where each individual is treated with respect, love and ultimately becomes a valued part of our New Hope family.
Below are some inspirational words from the one…the only…Ethan
“Hey Guys Ethan here! Thank you so much for coming to our website and getting to know us a little better.
My dream of helping people with autism is finally coming to reality! Thanks to everyone who has worked so tirelessly to make it happen. When my Mom offered up the greenhouse for my Business i didn’t know what to think at first. At first I thought it would take a hundred men or more just to clear out Half the greenhouse, but it took at least 15 people. Now with my sisters recently opening New Hope YQL floral shop we shall finally spread the word faster and get the greenhouse forNew Hope at Park Lake fixed and ready faster. We still have a long way to get there and we do need help.
This dream has been 7 years in the making and we’re finally ready to take our first steps. So thank you all so much for all you have done in supporting us, helping us grow, and above all else believing in us.”
